Nanak, Malik

Nanak, Malik
   A Hindu slave officer of 'Ala al-Din Khalji (1296-1316) who saved the sultan's life when he was attacked by Akat Khan. Malik Nanak was akhur bek (amir-i akhur) and muqti' of Samana in 1305 when he defeated a Mongol invading army.
